Set up your
request page.

A link your customers tap to ask for a quote, in your colors. Every request lands in Jobs under Leads. Free on every account. Every screenshot is the real app, with demo data.

GUIDE 01

Turn on your request page

Two minutes, once. You get a link you can put on a truck, a card, a text signature or a Google profile.

  1. In the web app, open Settings and tap APP. Find the Customer requests card. You need to be signed in to your QuoteIron account.
  2. Switch on Take requests online. Your link appears under Your link.
  3. Tap Copy link or Share and send it to yourself first, so you can see what customers see.
  4. Leave Let customers pick a time off if you would rather text people back yourself. Turn it on to let them choose from your open hours.
  5. Under Customer requests, Hours sets when customers can pick a time. Choose My work hours or Custom, and set each weekday. Your hours are private: customers only see the open times you offer, never your hours. Appointment length is 30 to 120 minutes.

Why it matters: the page is a plain web page, so it works on any phone and needs no app on the customer side. It is free on every account.

GUIDE 02

Make it look like your shop

Pick a color, choose light or dark, and trim the list of jobs to what you actually sell.

  1. Tap Theme to open the preview. Tap a color: Torch, Slate, Forest, Navy, Teal, Plum, Rose or Iron. The little phone recolors as you tap.
  2. Under it, choose Light or Dark. Customers see the one you choose, whatever their own phone is set to.
  3. Tap Jobs customers can pick. The list follows the trades you picked in Settings. Untick a job to hide it, use the arrows to reorder, or type a name and tap + under Add your own job.
  4. Changed your mind? Reset to defaults restores the original list. Your changes save by themselves.
  5. Tap a job's name to rename it. You can remove any job, but the last one stays.

Why it matters: customers see your business name and colors at the top, not a QuoteIron form.

GUIDE 03

What your customer sees

They never need to guess what to type.

  1. They open your link and see your business name, then What do you need done? with your jobs grouped by trade. They tick everything that applies.
  2. If it is not on the list, they tap Other and describe it in a few words.
  3. They add a name and a phone number (required). Email is optional. They can add an address, a note and photos of the job.
  4. They tap the send button. They see a short confirmation that you will text them back.

Why it matters: photos and a note on the request mean you often know the job before you call.

GUIDE 04

Where the requests land

Open the app and look at Jobs.

  1. New requests appear in Jobs under Leads, marked From your request page. You can also filter Jobs by Leads. The app tells you when a new request comes in.
  2. Tap a lead to see the jobs they picked, their note, address and photos. Use Call, Text or Map right from it.
  3. Ready to quote? Tap Convert to estimate. An estimate lands in your drafts for that customer, who is already saved in Clients.
  4. Not a fit? Tap Decline. The customer gets one short text.
  5. A request that arrives outside your hours shows an After hours tag on the lead.

Why it matters: a lead in the list is money you have not chased yet. Converting takes one tap.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If something looks off

Quick fixes.

The switch will not turn on. Sign in first. The request page needs your QuoteIron account, and the card says Sign in to turn this on.

My jobs list is empty. It fills in after you pick your trades in Settings and the page saves.

A job will not add. Each trade holds a limited number of jobs. Remove one you do not use, then add yours.

I do not see a new request. Open the app and make sure you are signed in. Requests are collected when the app opens.

I want it off. Switch off Take requests online. The link then shows customers that you are not taking requests.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

FAQ

Do I need Pro to use the request page?

No. The request page, its themes, your jobs list and the Leads list work on every account, Free and Pro.

Does the customer need to install anything or sign in?

No. They open your link in their phone browser, tick what they need, add a name and phone number, and send. Email and photos are optional.

Where do the requests show up?

In the Jobs tab, under Leads. Each request also adds the customer to your Clients, so their name, phone and address are already saved when you convert it to an estimate.

Can I change the jobs customers see?

Yes. Under Jobs customers can pick, turn jobs off, move them up or down, or add your own. Reset to defaults puts the original list back. The page always adds an Other row so customers can describe anything not on your list.

Can customers pick a time?

Optional. Let customers pick a time is off by default: customers send a request and you text them back. Switch it on and they also choose an open time from your Hours (private to you), minus what is already on your schedule. A request that comes in after hours is tagged After hours.
