QuoteIron is built local-first: your business data — your price book, clients, quotes, and invoices — lives on your device, not on our servers. We designed it that way on purpose.

What we don't collect

• We don't have accounts for the app today, so we don't hold your name, your clients' names, your prices, or your documents.
• We never process or hold payments between you and your customers.

What we do collect

• Website analytics: anonymous, aggregate page counts (no cookies, no ad tracking, no sale of data).
• Email, if you give it to us: used to send you what you asked for and product news; unsubscribe works with one click.
• Purchase records when billing launches, handled by our payment processor (Stripe) — we see order details, never full card numbers.

When cloud backup ships

Planned backups are encrypted on your device before upload — we will hold ciphertext we cannot read. That feature will be described here in full before it goes live.
